History of KHJ

2018

Hosted our first exhibition, Splash, featuring school kids, marking the beginning of our community-driven art movement.

2019

Launched the second edition of Splash with 51 artists from across India, expanding to include workshops and interactive art experiences.

2020

Focused on curated showcases, providing a platform for diverse artistic expressions.

2021

Grew to 66+ artists from all over India, further strengthening our artist network and community.

2022

Introduced Open Canvas, allowing spontaneous artistic expression, and expanded audience engagement activities within Splash.

2023

Took our vision nationwide by expanding to Chennai and Jaipur, evolving Splash into a traveling art festival.

2024

Rebranded Splash to Kalaa Har Jagah, broadening our scope with curated workshops, art walks, and discovery-driven experiences.

2025

Officially launched the Kalaa Har Jagah Festival, introducing the Cross-Cultural Exchange Zone and transforming into a discovery and event facilitation platform to connect artists, organizers, and audiences.

Our Story

In a world where creativity often takes a backseat, our art experience brand was born from a simple belief: everyone has an inner artist waiting to be discovered. Founded by passionate artists, architects, and community enthusiasts, we saw a need for engaging, personal, and inspiring art experiences—beyond traditional classes. But we didn’t stop there. We also built a platform to help art lovers discover unique artistic experiences around them, making creativity more accessible than ever.

From our first exhibition in 2018, it was clear we were onto something special. Participants of all ages and backgrounds came together, transforming creativity into a vibrant community. People weren’t just creating art—they were discovering new forms of expression, sharing stories, building friendships, and finding joy in the process.
